It’s the first question we get on WhatsApp, and fair enough: almost no website states the price clearly. So here it is.
Horse riding prices in Valencia
Per person, with guide, helmet and all gear included:
- 1 hour — €35
- 2 hours — €50
- 3 hours — €75
Note it isn’t proportional: a single hour costs €35, but on the 3-hour ride the hourly rate drops to €25. If you have a free morning, the long ride is the best value by some distance.
What’s included (and what isn’t)
Included:
- A qualified guide with you the whole way.
- An approved helmet.
- The horse, saddle, bridle and everything else.
- The briefing beforehand so you set off knowing the basics.
Not included: nothing else, because nothing else is needed. No separate insurance fee, no equipment rental, no weekend surcharge.
What it costs as a couple or a family
Since pricing is per person, the maths is simple:
- Couple, 1 hour — €70. The “let’s do something different on Sunday” plan.
- Couple, 2 hours — €100. The most popular choice for anniversaries.
- Family of 4, 1 hour — €140, and children ride from age 7.
Is that expensive compared to other plans?
For reference, in Valencia a cinema ticket is around €8-9, a set lunch €15-20 per person, and a day at a theme park easily goes past €40 a head. An hour on horseback in the countryside with your own guide sits in that same range — except for most people it’s the first time they’ve ever been on a horse, and that tends to stick.
Payment and cancellation
You pay on the day, at the meeting point. You can cancel with 2 hours’ notice at no cost. And if it rains, we cancel and find another day.
